Zarqa: The Zarqa Chamber of Commerce met on Monday with Gajithra Navan, Charg© d'Affaires of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Jordan, to discuss strategies for boosting trade, investment, and private sector partnerships. Chamber President Hussein Shreim emphasized the need to elevate economic relations between Jordan and Sri Lanka. He advocated for increased trade volume, joint investment ventures, organized trade missions, and regular business forums to unlock new opportunities.
According to Jordan News Agency, Navan pledged that the Sri Lanka Embassy in Amman is committed to strengthening ties between business communities in both nations. She invited the Zarqa Chamber and local merchants to attend an upcoming trade exhibition in Sri Lanka next year, encouraging Jordanian investors to explore promising market opportunities.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to sustain close coordination and launch joint economic initiatives to foster long-term growth.
