Jordan: Jordan is hosting a meeting on Wednesday of the foreign ministers of the Arab states serving on the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with coordinating international efforts to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem. The meeting will be attended by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia.
According to Jordan News Agency, participants will discuss developments in Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites to form a unified position in response to the escalating Israeli measures targeting the city's identity and its Islamic and Christian holy sites. This gathering is seen as a significant step in fostering solidarity among the involved nations to address the ongoing situation in Jerusalem.
In addition to Jordan, the committee comprises Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. These member states are expected to coordinate their diplomatic strategies to uphold the cultural and historical significance of Jerusalem's sacred sites and ensure their protection from any unlawful actions.
