Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti received US Senator Joni Ernst, a member of the US Senate Committee on Armed Services, at the General Command headquarters on Sunday.
According to Jordan News Agency, Huneiti and Ernst discussed ways to strengthen military and defense cooperation between Jordan and the United States. The discussions focused on joint training, knowledge exchange, capacity-building, and coordination.
The meeting was attended by the US ambassador, the defense attach© in Amman, and several senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces, reflecting the importance of the discussions and the commitment to enhancing bilateral military relations.
