Amman: Jordan's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), in cooperation with the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, has launched a digital awareness campaign to promote safe practices when using digital platforms and online services during the festival.
According to Jordan News Agency, the campaign features a series of awareness messages aimed to verify information sources, avoid suspicious links, exercise caution in online purchases, and raise awareness of digital fraud risks and ways to protect against them. The center emphasized the importance of these practices in a statement released on Thursday.
The initiative aligns with the center's ongoing efforts to promote a culture of cybersecurity and encourage the safe and responsible use of technology. The campaign aims to provide a more secure digital experience for citizens and visitors during the festival and other national events, ensuring that attendees are well-informed about potential cyber threats and how to mitigate them.
