Amman: Minister of Justice Dr. Bassam Talhouni affirmed that the Ministry of Justice's operational indicators continue to register "positive" results, reflecting increased service efficiency and faster completion times.
According to Jordan News Agency, Talhouni stated that the progress is supported by digital transformation projects implemented by the ministry, in line with the Economic Modernization Vision. In May, the Kingdom's judicial execution departments across various courts processed 51,662 cash transfers. This number increased to 106,686 in June and reached 93,327 in July.
In terms of financial transactions, Talhouni reported that the value of payments processed through the Kingdom's execution departments reached approximately JD100 million in May. This was followed by JD45 million in June and JD38 million in July, culminating in a total of JD184 million over the three months.
He emphasized that the increase in financial transactions demonstrates the "efficiency" of the procedures and the speed in handling litigants' rights, which has enhanced confidence in the Kingdom's enforcement system. This efficiency has also contributed to the expedited fulfillment of rights.
Talhouni highlighted that these achievements are the result of measures to develop procedures, automate services, and integrate electronic systems to monitor enforcement transactions, ensuring faster, more efficient, and transparent services.
Additionally, the ministry has re-engineered procedures to allow for the immediate refund of payments made to enforcement cases, either as deductions or monthly installments, upon completing the payment process. To address any delays, the ministry has set up an email address to receive complaints and feedback regarding refunds that exceed 48 hours.
So far, the ministry has received and addressed 57 complaints, as part of its plan to continue monitoring all feedback regularly.
