Jerash: The Greater Jerash Municipality's heritage tent, known as the Jerash House, is welcoming visitors to the 40th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts with traditional music, folk performances, and Jordanian hospitality in a celebration of the city's rich cultural heritage.
According to Jordan News Agency, Mohammad Bani Yasin, head of the Greater Jerash Municipality, said the Jerash House is receiving festival guests with traditional customs and artistic performances that reflect the city's history and folk heritage, accompanied by live music and traditional chants performed by the municipality's folklore troupe.
He said the heritage tent was established to serve as a showcase for Jerash's cultural identity and authentic traditions throughout the festival while providing a welcoming space for visitors that embodies Jordanian hospitality and highlights the governorate's cultural heritage.
Bani Yasin added that the municipality has prepared a program of heritage and artistic activities inside the tent, featuring performances by the municipality's folklore troupe to allow visitors to experience the customs and traditional arts that distinguish the city.
He said the municipality will continue supporting initiatives that contribute to the success of the festival and strengthen Jerash's position as a cultural and tourism destination.
