Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD11.7 million on Thursday, with 3.7 million shares traded through 3,658 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ASE general price index closed at 3,932 points, marking an increase of 0.03 percent. Out of the 94 companies whose stocks were traded, 38 saw an increase in their stock prices, whereas 28 experienced a decline when compared to their previous closing prices.
Analysing the performance by sector, the industrial index experienced a rise of 0.59 percent. In contrast, the services index saw a decrease of 0.45 percent, while the financial index showed a modest gain of 0.12 percent.
