Permanent Book Fair in Zarqa Opens with Nominal Prices

Amman: The Zarqa Culture Directorate has extended an invitation to reading and culture enthusiasts to explore the permanent book fair at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center. The fair offers a wide range of Ministry of Culture publications catering to readers of all ages.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Director of the Zarqa Culture Directorate, Mohammad Al-Zoub, stated that the fair showcases a variety of publications spanning literature, culture, history, thought, and development. Additionally, there is a dedicated section for children's books. This initiative is aimed at making books accessible at nominal prices to foster a culture of reading, encourage book ownership, support cultural activities, and provide visitors with a diverse array of knowledge resources.

Al-Zoub highlighted that the fair operates daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended evening hours during cultural events, literary evenings, and other activities hosted by the center. This schedule is designed to accommodate a larger audience, allowing more visitors and readers the opportunity to explore the extensive collection of publications available at the fair.
