Jordan Expands Visa-Free Entry to Families of Syrian Investors

Amman: The Ministry of Interior has announced new travel facilities for Syrian investors and businesspeople entering Jordan, extending visa-free access to include their immediate family members. This development marks a significant step in simplifying travel procedures and supporting economic activities within the country.

According to Jordan News Agency, the decision is an extension of previous measures designed to facilitate entry for investors and business figures, thereby aiding the national economy. Earlier, Syrian investors and business leaders with premium- or first-category membership cards from Syrian chambers of commerce could enter Jordan without prior approval to manage investments and explore business prospects.

The newly implemented rules will now allow spouses and children under the age of 18 of eligible Syrian business figures and investors to enter Jordan without the need for prior approval. This move aims to ease the travel and business operations for Syrian investors and their families, further strengthening economic ties and opportunities.
