Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met on Tuesday with leaders of pioneering organisations in advanced technology fields, during a visit to Silicon Valley, California.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince engaged in a dialogue with Sam Chaudhary, founder and CEO of ClassDojo, focusing on collaboration opportunities between ClassDojo and the 'Siraj' project, an educational support platform in Jordan. Discussions included the potential enhancement of tools for vocational and technical education and training programmes.
His Royal Highness also participated in a meeting organized by Rainmaker CEO Augustus Doricko, which included founders and CEOs from various technology sectors. The dialogue centered on bolstering cooperation in productive solutions, creative artificial intelligence, the development of autonomous logistics cargo aircraft, robotics technology for drilling and mining, and unmanned aerial vehicle systems.
The meetings saw the presence of Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, Jordan's Ambassador to the United States Dina Kawar, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain. Additionally, the Crown Prince met with Jordanian-American technology investor Isam Qubain, acknowledging his contributions in Silicon Valley and his efforts to foster sustainable development in Jordan's humanitarian and scientific domains.
