Amman: Turnover at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD 15.6 million on Thursday, with 5.4 million shares traded through 5,165 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,963 points, marking a decrease of 0.15 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 94 companies that were traded, 28 experienced an increase in their share prices, while 32 saw a decline. At the sector level, the industrial index experienced a decrease of 0.91 percent. Conversely, the services index saw a rise of 0.20 percent, whereas the financial index experienced a slight dip of 0.08 percent.
