Momani Extends Hijri New Year Greetings, Reflects on Lessons of Prophet’s Hijrah

Amman: Minister of Government Communication and government spokesperson Mohammad Momani said, on the occasion of the Hijri New Year, that the blessed occasion recalls the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s Hijrah (migration), a pivotal event in Islamic history that embodied the highest values of faith, determination, sacrifice, and patience.

According to Jordan News Agency, in a post on X, Momani said the enduring anniversary carries profound meanings of sincerity, steadfastness, and dedication to building societies, while reinforcing the values of brotherhood and solidarity inspired by the lessons and principles established through the Prophet's migration and reflected in the course of Islamic civilization.

Momani extended his congratulations to Jordanians and to the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion, praying that the new Hijri year would be one of goodness and blessings and that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, would continue to enjoy security, stability, progress, and prosperity.

He concluded by saying, "Wishing you a happy new year. May God return this occasion to all with prosperity and blessings."
