Amman: The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry is moving forward with efforts to support the Kingdom's economic transformation agenda, aligning its plans with the government's broader modernization drive, Energy Minister Saleh Al-Kharabsheh said Tuesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, speaking on the occasion of the anniversary of King Abdullah II's Accession to the Throne, Al-Kharabsheh described the Economic Modernization Vision as a long-term blueprint aimed at unlocking investment, expanding employment opportunities, and fostering sustainable growth across the country.
He stated that the ministry is focused on translating the Vision's goals into tangible outcomes within the energy and mining sectors, with priority placed on securing reliable energy supplies, improving efficiency, and enhancing Jordan's economic competitiveness.
The minister also paid tribute to the achievements recorded during the King's reign, saying they have laid the foundation for continued progress and strengthened Jordan's position as a stable and forward-looking nation. He emphasized that the ministry remains committed to supporting national development efforts and contributing to a more resilient and prosperous future.
