Amman: Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat visited Mostar IT on the occasion of the opening of its new headquarters, where he was briefed on the company's expansion plans and operations in digital infrastructure, cloud computing, systems integration, and cybersecurity.
According to Jordan News Agency, Smeirat emphasized the importance of supporting Jordanian companies and enabling them to grow and expand into regional and global markets. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards creating high-quality employment opportunities for Jordanian youth and enhancing the competitiveness of the information technology sector.
He further noted that the success of national companies in expanding beyond Jordan, while maintaining their operations, expertise, and skilled workforce within the Kingdom, strengthens Jordan's position as a regional technology hub. This move aligns with the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision, which focuses on supporting the digital economy, attracting investment, and developing national talent.
