King Abdullah II Celebrates Jordan’s 80th Independence Day with Inspiring Address

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, along with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, participated in the ceremony commemorating Jordan's 80th Independence Day at Al Husseiniya Palace.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the event, King Abdullah II delivered a heartfelt address to the nation. He reflected on the history and resilience of Jordan, emphasizing the country's role as a cradle of civilizations and a land of harmony. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the nation and praised the unwavering spirit and principles of the Jordanian people.

His Majesty highlighted Jordan's steadfastness in maintaining its borders, security, and democratic path despite regional turbulence. He reiterated the nation's boundless generosity and the importance of facing difficulties with awareness and responsibility. King Abdullah II expressed confidence in Jordan's future and its ability to overcome obstacles, urging the nation to continue moving forward with faith and determination.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Royal family, including Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein. The event also saw the presence of heads of authorities, senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives from political parties, civil society organizations, and professional associations.
