Irbid: Irbid Chamber of Commerce (ICC) announced the launch of a new humanitarian initiative as part of the "Relief for Gaza" campaign, in cooperation and coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO). The initiative aims to provide Iftar meals for families in the Gaza Strip during the Day of Arafah.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ICC's statement on Thursday emphasized that this step is a continuation of Jordan's ongoing efforts to support the people of the Gaza Strip and reduce their humanitarian suffering. The campaign is designed to deliver complete family Iftar meals, which include rice, meat or chicken, water, and dates.
The Irbid Chamber highlighted that the cost of a single family meal is set at JD10, which is sufficient for 3-5 people. To ensure the initiative's success, the ICC is calling on the business sector and local community members to contribute to the campaign, thereby reinforcing the values of solidarity and mutual support.
The chamber further stated that donations can be made by contacting members of the ICC's Board of Directors or through its administration at the number: 0795593080.
