Amman: Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD20.2 million, as 5.8 million shares were traded through 5,274 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,993 points, marking an increase of 0.38% compared to the last performance.
According to Jordan News Agency, of the 98 companies traded, 40 recorded gains in share prices, while 28 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices. The sector performance showed varied results; the industrial and financial indexes rose by 2.11% and 0.20%, respectively, while the services index experienced a decline of 0.33%.
