Amman: Electronic Health Solutions Co (EHS) announced it added global educational platform "Amboss" to Jordan's Electronic Library of Medicine (ELM), in a step aimed at supporting "continuous" learning and advancing medical knowledge and clinical practice.
According to Jordan News Agency, the "Elm" is the first specialized digital medical library in Jordan, dedicated to serving the healthcare sector, providing free access for physicians, healthcare professionals, and university students to the latest international medical references and studies. The initiative also aims to support scientific research and enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.
The Amboss platform, considered one of the world's leading medical education platforms, offers advanced interactive educational content that integrates medical knowledge with clinical application. It also includes a smart question bank, designed to help physicians and medical students prepare for international medical exams and stay updated on evidence-based medical practices.
EHS CEO, Omar Ayesh, stated that the medical sector is witnessing rapid developments in knowledge and educational tools, making access to reliable and up-to-date medical resources essential for doctors and medical students alike. He said rolling out Amboss reflects the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen Jordan's healthcare learning environment and support Jordanian doctors and medical students in enhancing their scientific and clinical readiness.
The platform will also help users prepare efficiently for international certification, specialty, and board examinations in line with global medical standards and best practices, he added. Ayesh emphasized the company's commitment to leveraging technology and digital knowledge to empower medical professionals, improve healthcare quality, and ensure patient safety.
Through the "Elm" medical library program, EHS continues to expand access to international medical references and provide free subscriptions to healthcare and academic staff at medical institutions and universities as part of efforts to promote continuous learning and innovation in Jordan's healthcare sector.
