Beirut: Two people were killed on Monday in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Shahour in southern Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said.
According to Jordan News Agency, the source informed that aircraft carried out heavy strikes on 20 southern towns and villages, as Israeli artillery targeted 18 towns in the region. The report highlighted intense bombing by the Israeli army in the towns of Khiam, Shama, and Qantara, further escalating tensions in the area.
