Amman: The Jordan Silos and Supply General Company reported total sales and service revenues of approximately JD20 million in 2025. The company contributed JD3 million to the Treasury as a financial surplus and paid nearly JD304,000 in taxes and national contributions for the same year.
According to Jordan News Agency, the company held its annual ordinary general assembly meeting on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by Board Chairman Anwar Ajarmeh and attended by board members, General Manager Emad Tarawneh, and shareholders, representing 100 percent of the shares.
During the assembly, the 2025 annual report, financial statements, the external auditor's report, and all agenda items were approved. The meeting reaffirmed the company's strategic role in managing the national grain reserves and enhancing the food security system. It also commended the efforts of the board and executive management, confirming the legal validity of the meeting procedures.
The Jordan Silos and Supply General Company, established under Cabinet Decision No. 657 on September 5, 2000, serves as the storage arm for the Kingdom's strategic reserves of grains and essential food commodities. It plays a central role in reinforcing national food security, aligning with the policies and supply plans of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply.
