King Abdullah II Meets Kuwaiti Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday received Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah at Al Husseiniya Palace. The meeting, which also included the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, focused on the robust relations between Jordan and Kuwait. Discussions were held on expanding cooperation across several fields and enhancing joint Arab action to ensure sustained de-escalation in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah II emphasized that any de-escalation agreement must safeguard the security of Arab states. He highlighted the critical importance of Gulf states' security to both regional and global stability. The King also reiterated the necessity of continuing support for Lebanon's efforts to preserve its security, stability, and sovereignty. He warned against Israeli attempts to exploit the regional situation to establish new realities on the ground in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, alongside Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh.
