Jordan-Syria Higher Coordination Council Set to Convene in Amman


Amman: The second session of the Jordanian-Syrian Higher Coordination Council is scheduled to take place on Sunday in Amman at the ministerial level. The primary focus of the meeting is to explore ways to enhance a strategic partnership in essential areas of mutual interest between the two nations.



According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting will be led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and his Syrian counterpart Asaad Shaibani. Delegations representing 20 sectors will participate in the discussions, signaling the comprehensive nature of the dialogue.



In preparation for the council meeting, technical committees have commenced their preliminary meetings. These sessions aim to lay the groundwork for productive discussions during the main event, highlighting the commitment to fostering collaboration across various sectors.
