Antalya: The national football team drew 2-2 with Nigeria in a friendly match held as part of its training camp in Antalya, Turkiye, in preparation for its historic first participation in the 2026 World Cup finals.
According to Jordan News Agency, Jordan opened the scoring through Mousa Al-Taamari in the 17th minute, following an assist from Noor Al-Rawabdeh. Nigeria quickly equalized with a goal from Moses Simon in the 25th minute and then took the lead with a goal from Emmanuel Fernandes in the 41st minute, concluding the first half 2-1 in favor of Nigeria.
Mohammad Rateb brought Jordan level in the second half, scoring the equalizer in the 77th minute after another assist from Al-Rawabdeh. The match concluded with a 2-2 draw.
With this result, the national team concluded its training camp in Turkiye as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup finals.
