Amman: Thunderstorms swept across Southern Jordan on Wednesday, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall and hail, as reported by the Jordan Meteorological Department, which cited radar images.
According to Jordan News Agency, downpours were particularly notable in the regions of Karakk, Tafileh, and Ma'an, as well as the southern Jordan Valley. The department issued warnings for potential flash floods and rising water levels in valleys and low-lying areas, urging residents to exercise caution and avoid floodplains and areas prone to water accumulation.
