Amman: Minister of Agriculture Saeb Khreisat and Bulgarian Ambassador Metin Kazak held discussions on Wednesday to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation in various agricultural fields. The meeting underscored the existing strong ties between Jordan and Bulgaria, with an emphasis on advancing collaboration in the agricultural sector to serve mutual interests.
According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Khreisat highlighted Jordan's favorable environment for agricultural investment. He called for increased joint investment opportunities between the public and private sectors of both nations. The minister emphasized the significance of exchanging agricultural products and collaborating on agricultural production inputs to foster sustainable agricultural development.
Khreisat also spoke about the potential involvement of Bulgarian agricultural companies in events and activities organized in Jordan, especially those related to European partnership frameworks. Ambassador Kazak commended the current level of relations with Jordan and expressed Bulgaria's commitment to broadening cooperation in various sectors, particularly agriculture, by promoting the sharing of expertise, technology transfer, and joint investment.
