Amman: Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD11.4 million on Thursday, as 2.7 million shares were exchanged through 3,000 transactions. The market's general share price index closed at 3,629 points, marking an increase of 0.8% compared with the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, 42 out of the 89 companies traded recorded gains, while 19 companies saw their share prices decline. Sector indices showed positive movement across the board, with the industry sector up by 0.89%, financials rising by 0.75%, and services increasing by 0.74%.
