Iraq Extends Airspace Closure for 24 Hours Amid Regional Tensions

Baghdad: The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced on Sunday the extension of the closure of Iraqi airspace to all flights for an additional 24 hours, amid ongoing regional developments and tensions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the authority stated it had decided to extend the temporary and precautionary closure of the country's airspace to incoming, outgoing, and transit aircraft until 12:00 noon on Monday. The decision is part of precautionary measures aimed at maintaining the safety of air navigation and passengers in light of the current developments.
