KHCF and Maersk Jordan Collaborate to Boost Cancer Patient Care Services

Amman: King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Maersk Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cancer patient care services at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The agreement aims to ensure the continuous delivery of specialized care to patients and their families during their treatment journey.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by KHCF's Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and Maersk Jordan General Manager Rakan Madi. The MoU reflects the logistics company's commitment to support patients facing significant challenges and to strengthen Jordan's capacity to provide cancer treatment and healthcare.

During the signing ceremony, Qatamesh expressed pride in the partnership with Maersk, highlighting it as a model of corporate responsibility and the private sector's role in supporting cancer patients. She emphasized the importance of enabling KHCC to continue delivering specialized healthcare.

Madi noted that the agreement aligns with Maersk's commitment to social responsibility and underscores the importance of collaboration between private sector entities. He added that Maersk is committed to supporting KHCC and assisting patients in their recovery journey.
