Crown Prince Al Hussein Chairs Meeting to Propel Scientific Research and Innovation in Jordan

Amman: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II chaired a regular meeting of the National Council for Future Technology, directing the council to focus on advancing scientific research and innovation in Jordan. The meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, highlighted the Crown Prince's call to prioritize scientific research and leverage local expertise and institutions to enhance investment in this crucial sector.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince emphasized the need for the updated version of the Sanad application to represent a significant improvement in usability. He also underscored the urgency of creating a supportive ecosystem to position Jordan as a hub for innovation and technological leadership.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince received updates on the council's ongoing projects and recent digital advancements in litigation procedures, including the digital signature project. Attendees included Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Royal Scientific Society president, Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, chairman of the National Council for Future Technology, council members, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain.
