Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD10.4 million on Wednesday, with 3.5 million shares exchanged through 3,515 transactions. The general share price index rose to 3,647 points, marking an increase of 0.36% from the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, indexes of the services and industrial sectors experienced growth, with increases of 0.83% and 0.54%, respectively. Meanwhile, the financial sector saw a modest rise of 0.08%.
Out of the 105 companies traded, 41 registered gains, 30 witnessed declines, while the remaining companies maintained their previous positions.
