Riyadh: Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence technologies and digital tools in supporting development and knowledge during a dialogue session at the Saudi Media Forum 2026. He stressed the need for young individuals to understand the power and responsibilities of modern communication technologies.
According to Jordan News Agency, Momani spoke on the significance of digital sovereignty in protecting societies amid rapid technological advancements. He highlighted the necessity of critically engaging with information by analyzing and verifying content to empower individuals in assessing the credibility of information and its sources.
Momani asserted that media success is achieved through shaping public opinion with accurate information and sound data. He advocated for the use of Arab media resources to combat misinformation, fake news, and hate speech, emphasizing that the media's role includes analyzing, interpreting, and clarifying information while maintaining neutrality and professionalism to preserve credibility and public trust.
