Clothing Bank to Launch Three Mobile Halls to Serve Needy Families

Amman: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO)'s Clothing Bank is set to establish three mobile halls as part of its "Deeratna" program. These halls are dedicated to serving beneficiary families in various governorates, with two planned for Karak Governorate and one for the Northern Jordan Valley District in Irbid Governorate. This initiative aims to facilitate access to the bank's services and ease financial burdens on the families.

According to Jordan News Agency, a statement issued by the bank on Monday outlines that the two mobile halls in Karak Governorate will be set up in the Iraq and Muta areas on Wednesday. This will be done in cooperation with Rawabi Al-Iraq and Al-Iraq Charity Societies in the Iraq area, and Al-Mihrab Charity Society in the Muta area.

The third mobile hall activity is scheduled for Al-Nour Events Hall in the Northern Jordan Valley District, under Muath Bin Jabal Municipality, on Wednesday and Thursday. This will be in collaboration with the Makani Baynakom Association for Persons with Disabilities, with local youth centre volunteers participating.

The purpose of the mobile halls is to enable beneficiary families to select clothing based on their needs in a manner that maintains their dignity and meets essential requirements amid challenging economic conditions. Around 600 families are anticipated to benefit from these activities.

The Clothing Bank emphasized the significance of partnerships with local community institutions and volunteers in carrying out its humanitarian programs. These partnerships play a crucial role in achieving positive and sustainable humanitarian impact, aligning with the mission of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization to support local communities and promote values of giving and social solidarity.
