Mafraq Municipality Installs Cameras to Monitor Environmental Violations

Mafraq: The Mafraq Greater Municipality on Sunday began installing 11 specialized cameras on its vehicles and equipment to monitor and track violations against the environment.

According to Jordan News Agency, this measure is part of the executive program of the cleanliness strategy aimed at reducing the random dumping of waste, promoting environmental behavior and social responsibility, and aligning with the directives of the Ministries of Local Administration and Environment. It also aims to implement the economic modernization vision to strengthen and enhance monitoring and oversight efficiency.

The municipality explained that the cameras will document any environmental violations committed by its vehicles, ensuring that regulations and laws are applied fairly and transparently. This initiative contributes to fostering a culture of compliance and discipline, while maintaining a clean environment.
