King Abdullah II Stresses Political Development in Meeting with House of Representatives’ Office

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday met with the permanent office of the House of Representatives, which includes the speaker, his deputies, and assistants. During the meeting held at Al Husseiniya Palace, His Majesty emphasized the importance of continuing to develop political party action mechanisms that serve the public interest and enhance citizens' trust.

According to Jordan News Agency, the King highlighted the necessity for ongoing coordination between the House of Representatives, the government, and the Senate to address national priorities in the upcoming period. The discussions also touched upon regional developments and Jordan's collaborative efforts with active partners to restore peace and stability in the region.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Qadi reiterated that serving the people of Jordan is central to parliamentary work. He emphasized the House's dedication to fully exercising its legislative and oversight roles for the benefit of citizens.

Members of the House's permanent office also discussed key domestic issues that will be tackled in cooperation with both the Senate and the government. Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh were also present at the meeting.
