Amman: The Jordan River Foundation, in collaboration with Sharek Youth Forum, the Belgian organization BANTANI, and the Dutch organization CINOP, has successfully wrapped up the Youth Entrepreneurial Competencies (EntreComp4Youth) project. This initiative, supported by the European Union, aimed to bolster entrepreneurial skills and prepare young individuals for the workforce by merging entrepreneurship frameworks with virtual reality technology.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Foundation announced that the project emphasized the enhancement of entrepreneurial competencies through the introduction of innovative virtual reality-based learning tools. The project was designed to build the capacities of master trainers and youth workers, equipping them to provide competency-based training via interactive methods and real work environment simulations.
The initiative provided targeted training to young people, focusing on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, developing creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills. It also offered practical experiences to help build confidence and apply competencies effectively.
Furthermore, the project implemented well-defined mechanisms for attracting and selecting participants, developing standardized training materials, and training partner organizations in utilizing virtual reality scenarios tailored to entrepreneurship skills and labor market entry. These efforts contributed to improved learning quality and increased engagement among the target groups.
