Dubai: Aqaba Airports Company (AAC)/King Hussein International Airport recently concluded its participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025, an event hosted by Dubai World Central (DWC) under the theme “The Future Is Here.” The airshow featured various global aviation industry leaders.
According to Jordan News Agency, during a panel discussion titled “Elevate Passenger Experience,” AAC’s CEO, Ramzi Arafat, highlighted the latest practices implemented at King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in Aqaba. These efforts align with the Royal vision for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) project, supported by the Aqaba Development Corporation.
Arafat elaborated that these practices are focused on elevating service quality, improving passenger experience, and enhancing operational efficiency through the adoption of innovative technologies. These advancements facilitate passenger movement and aim to provide smoother, more efficient services.
He emphasized that the improvement of passenger experience has become a crucial factor in enhancing the global competitiveness of airports. Arafat noted the significance of digital technology, efficient ground services, and the development of the travel environment as fundamental aspects of modern airport operations.
Arafat also described the company’s participation in the global conference as an important milestone in its journey to develop the air transport industry and expand its international partnerships. This participation supports Aqaba’s readiness for the future of global aviation.
On the current vision, Arafat referred to KHIA’s key development programs and projects that are underway. These initiatives aim to elevate service levels and support the airport’s operational capacity, ensuring it remains competitive in the evolving aviation landscape.
