Armed Forces Facilitate Evacuation of 16th Batch of Sick Children from Gaza for Treatment

Amman: The Jordanian Armed Forces have successfully evacuated the sixteenth batch of sick children from Gaza, comprising nine patients and sixteen companions, as part of the ongoing “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative. This effort is in line with royal directives aimed at supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering due to the ongoing aggression in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the sick children will receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals. This initiative is being coordinated with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO) as part of the Jordanian Armed Forces’ continuous medical and humanitarian efforts to provide health care and support to Palestinians in Gaza.

Since the initiative began last March, a total of 1,446 people have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip, including 387 patients and 1,059 companions. The evacuees have been transported by land and air through numerous flights to receive essential medical care within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and in several other countries. This initiative reflects the cooperative response to the royal directive aimed at bolstering support for the Palestinian people.
