Dust Causes Dyspnea Cases in Aqaba Governorate

Aqaba: Aqaba Governor Ayman Awaysheh reported that two individuals experienced dyspnea after being exposed to dust while on duty in Aqaba’s Southern Industrial Zone. These individuals visited medical clinics for treatment.

According to Jordan News Agency, the governor confirmed that the patients received medical attention, were discharged, and their safety was assured. In a statement, Awaysheh clarified that heavy dust in the southern part of Aqaba was the cause of the dyspnea cases, and the affected individuals were promptly examined.

Awaysheh also addressed and dismissed media reports suggesting that gas or vapor leaks from local factories were responsible for the dyspnea incidents. He emphasized the importance of accuracy when publishing information about such occurrences.
