Amman: Director General of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), Dr. Nael Hussami, held discussions with CEO of Miqyass Technical Consulting, Advisor Adel Ghamdi, focusing on bolstering Jordanian exports to the Arab Gulf, specifically targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting at the ACI headquarters centered on providing consulting services to Jordanian factories to address and overcome technical challenges faced by exporters in the Gulf market. The dialogue highlighted the importance of adhering to Gulf and Saudi specifications and requirements for product exports.
To further these objectives, a consensus was reached for Miqyass to organize training workshops across various sectors to enhance awareness of the technical requirements. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding is set to be signed, outlining steps to support Jordanian manufacturers. This includes organizing seminars, workshops, and disseminating Saudi specifications to facilitate compliance.
The memorandum also aims to establish connections with Saudi importers and includes plans for visits to Jordanian factories to enhance their export strategies. Rose Samadi, ACI Quality and Environment Officer, emphasized the chamber’s commitment to supporting Jordanian factories in expanding their presence in the Saudi market, which is pivotal for Jordanian exports.
