Amman: Turnover at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) stood at JD16.1 million on Monday, with 5.6 million shares changing hands through 4,771 transactions. The general price index closed at 3,046 points, marking an increase of 0.72 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of 95 companies on the index, 37 posted gains while 24 experienced declines. Sector-wise, the services index saw a significant rise of 1.14 percent. The industrial index also showed positive movement with an increase of 0.65 percent, and the financial index recorded a growth of 0.45 percent.
