Amman: The Run Jordan Association announced Sunday the opening of registration for the 15th Bromine Amman Marathon, set for October 17 under the slogan “Run in the Heart of Amman.” The children’s race will take place on October 10 at Al Hussein Park.
According to Jordan News Agency, Run Jordan General Manager Lina Kurd stated that the marathon has become a sporting and social platform with a humanitarian message. She highlighted that 20 percent of registration fees will support Gaza through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, while another 20 percent of fees collected online will be directed to Medical Aid for Palestinians. She emphasized that sports serve as a bridge of hope and solidarity, reflecting the values of Jordanian society in giving and belonging.
The marathon will commence at the Hashemite Square and will include a 42.195 km individual and relay race, a half-marathon, and a 10 km race, all open to individuals and persons with disabilities.
