SSC Allocates 562 Survivors’ Pensions for Natural Deaths in First Half of 2025

Amman: Social Security Corporation (SSC) allocated 562 natural-death survivors’ pensions during the first six months of this year, bringing the cumulative number until the end of last June to 26,605 beneficiaries.

According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC outlined the eligibility criteria for this pension disbursement. It requires the deceased person to have made a minimum of 24 contributions to the corporation, including 6 consecutive ones. Additionally, death must occur during the individual’s actual and active subscription period.

In a statement on Tuesday, the SSC mentioned that eligible survivors receive the pension starting from the beginning of the month in which the death occurs. Additionally, a funeral grant of JD700 is disbursed to the entitled family members.
