Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II departed on Monday for an official visit to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. The visit is set to include a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who also serves as the prime minister of Saudi Arabia. According to Jordan News Agency, during the king’s absence, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of Cabinet members. The visit underscores the continued diplomatic engagement between Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
