Jordan’s Peak Electricity Load Reaches 4,525 MW Amid Heatwave

Amman: Jordan’s maximum recorded electricity load reached 4,525 megawatts on Sunday, according to data from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).

According to Jordan News Agency, the company had announced its readiness on Friday to manage the increased demand caused by the ongoing heatwave across the kingdom. The heatwave has significantly impacted electricity consumption, pushing the demand to its highest levels as residents and businesses rely more on cooling systems.
