Israeli Occupation Forces Target 112 Water Filling Stations; Destroy 720 Wells in Gaza

Gaza: The Government Media Office in Gaza accused the Israeli occupation of orchestrating a systematic campaign to deprive civilians of water, targeting more than 112 water filling stations and destroying 720 wells.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Israeli violations have left over 1.25 million Palestinians without access to clean water. A statement issued by the Office on Monday emphasized that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately targeted civilians at water queues.

The most recent Israeli attack occurred northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of 12 people, including eight children.

The blocking of fuel supplies necessary for operating water and sanitation wells has exacerbated health and environmental crises across the region.

The statement condemned the Israeli actions as clear violations of international law and human rights. It called on the international community to take urgent action to halt what it described as a “war of deprivation,” ensure access to water and fuel for the affected population, and launch an international investigation to hold those responsible accountable.
