Amman: Jordan’s Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) managed 1,706 incidents over a 24-hour period, involving ambulance, rescue, and firefighting operations, demonstrating its commitment to ensuring public safety and prompt response.
According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD reported that its teams addressed 1,463 emergency cases and 126 rescue cases, with average response times of 7:37 and 7:36 minutes, respectively. Furthermore, firefighters successfully extinguished 117 fires across the nation, maintaining an average response time of 7:33 minutes.
The CDD emphasized that these efforts highlight the readiness and efficiency of its teams in executing their responsibilities thoroughly. The agency also urged the public to utilize the unified emergency number (911), assuring that its teams are always prepared to manage various situations with professionalism and effectiveness.
