Jenin: Israeli occupation forces launched search-and-arrest raids across towns and villages of the West Bank on Monday, arresting 15 Palestinians.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated that the arrests coincided with a military campaign on the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm and nearby refugee camps, which has been ongoing for four months. The region has also seen escalating attacks by Jewish settlers on Palestinian property in various locations within the occupied territory.
Further south, Israeli forces demolished 25 structures, including homes, water wells, and agricultural facilities in the village of Khalet Al-Baba’ in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Inhabitants of several villages in the area face the threat of displacement. An Israeli court ruling in 2022 ordered the demolition of Khalet Al Daba’ under the pretext it is located in “a military zone,” part of land grabs to expand Jewish settlements.
