Algiers: Senator Mohammad Daoudieh, head of the Jordanian parliamentary delegation participating in the 38th Arab Parliamentary Union Conference in Algeria, met with Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, the Speaker of the Somali Parliament. The meeting aimed to discuss and explore avenues for expanding bilateral cooperation between Jordan and Somalia.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting was attended by Fathi Jaghbir, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry. The discussions centered on strengthening collaboration and fostering mutual interests between the two nations. A statement from the Senate highlighted that Jordan’s Ambassador to Algeria, Shaker Al-Amoush, would work closely with his Somali counterpart. This collaboration is intended to coordinate and follow up on the next steps, paving the way for a new phase in relations between Jordan and Somalia.
Both parties expressed their commitment to enhancing constructive cooperation, which will benefit the two brotherly nations. The discussions underscored the importance of diplomatic engagement and the willingness to explore opportunities that align with the interests of both Jordan and Somalia.
