Ghor Al-Safi: Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi Saturday oversaw a free medical day in Ghor Al-Safi, organized by Nobles for Sustainable Development, as part of the Al-Wedad medical day campaign launched in February at the new Al-Mallaha Housing Complex in the Jordan Valley. Issawi was joined by Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Director General Nizar Mheidat and Karak Governor Qablan Al-Sharif, who were briefed on the operations of the medical day, which offers free medical services in most specialties to local people.
According to Jordan News Agency, Issawi expressed gratitude to the organizers and volunteers for their humanitarian efforts and for promoting social solidarity. Lara Burgan, founder and director of Nobles for Sustainable Development, highlighted the Royal Court Chief’s support of the free medical days initiative, which specifically targets underprivileged families across the Kingdom.
The campaign was organized in collaboration with JFDA, and the Ghor Al-Safi and Prince Hamzah Hospitals, involving volunteer doctors and technicians from various health institutions. Burgan announced that more free medical days are planned to be organized across the Kingdom, aiming to extend healthcare services to those in need.
