Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Safadi, in Riyadh today.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the meeting focused on the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. The ministers also addressed regional and international developments, with particular attention to the Palestinian issue and the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
The discussions included the efforts of the ministerial committee formed by the extraordinary joint Arab and Islamic summit to address developments in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, there was dialogue on the preparations for the upcoming conference aimed at resolving the Palestinian issue and implementing the two-state solution. This conference is scheduled for next June and will be co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and the French Republic.
